Azelaic acid is a naturally occurring acid which the skin to renew itself more quickly and reduces pimple and blackhead formation. It also helps to kill the bacteria that cause acne and rosacea.

Directions
Wash and dry your hands before using. Clean and dry the affected area. Apply a thin layer of medication to the affected area and gently rub in, usually 2 times daily or as directed by your provider. Do not bandage, cover, or wrap the area unless directed to do so by your provider.
Ingredients
Active Ingredients: Azelaic acid 15%
Inactive Ingredients: Ethyl alcohol, water, glycerin, hydroxypropyl cellulose.
Warnings: Burning, stinging, itching, dryness, or redness at the application site may occur when first applied to the skin. This should disappear in a few days as your body adjusts to the medication. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your CCSD provider promptly.
